CITES NetFiles

Access your files anytime, anywhere with CITES NetFiles. NetFiles is a file management and collaboration application developed by Xythos, the leading developer of internet file management solutions. Publishing web sites, backing up critical files, and collaborating with colleagues both on and off campus is fast, simple, and secure with NetFiles. All students, faculty, and staff receive 500 MB of storage at no cost. In this 2-hour workshop we will take a look at the new interface for NetFiles. We will also explore the New Folder wizard to create, share and configure new folders in an easy to follow method. The Sharing wizard makes it easier to share folders and content by helping you decide who to share content with, what permissions your workspaces should have, and how to communicate with other team members. The remainder of the workshop will be spent learning more about the features of the application such as managing file and folders and setting sharing and permissions.

Prerequisite: Confirmed faculty, staff, or student status at the University of Illinois
(valid Student/Staff ID required). All attendees must obtain a NetFiles account and
password prior to class.
