CITES provides over seventy services that address the technology needs of the campus, including networking, email, courseware, and telephone services. We are happy to be able to offer these courses to the campus community.

CITES Spam Control Workshop

Campus Information Technologies and Educational Services (CITES) is pleased to provide an email filtering service that concentrates continued efforts to protect the University of Illinois from email viruses, and to shield campus users from an overload of unsolicited messages, commonly known as "spam."

This 45 minute workshop offers an overview of CITES Spam Control and covers the fundamentals for using the service. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary.

Prerequisite:  None
Duration: 45 minutes
Fee: $0 (This course is sponsored by CITES Security Services and Information Policy, Office of the CIO.)

Orientation to CITES Express Email

CITES Express Email is the new email service offered to UIUC faculty, staff, and students.  It replaces the the old "staff.uiuc.edu" and "student.uiuc.edu" cluster machine email accounts, which were retired in June, 2004.  This short course presents an overview of CITES Express Email.
